Loving arms...no doubt about that. A beautiful song, and sung perfectly. Looove that song.

TGCOH would be my second choice...

"Good time Charlie´s got the blues"

Several good songs on this album, both "Loving Arms" and "I got a feelin´ in my body" are great. So is "I´ve got a thing about you baby".

Elvis version of Spanish eyes is the best of the ones I´ve heard but it´s a boring song,
not even Elvis can save that one.

Lennart: I like Elvis' version of "Spanish Eyes," but it doesn't compare with the hit version by Al Martino.

Can´t remember that I´ve heard that version but I don´t like the song.
If you like it, good for you.
Please remember that it´s only my opinion that I share with you.

Some people on this board loves "Sylvia" I don´t.
Some people dislike "Snowbird" I love it.
It´s all about personal taste ist´n it!

Can´t remember the name but a few years ago there was a guy on this board claiming that "Sylvia" was a soul song. I don´t think so, not to my ears, more of a boring ballad.

Perhaps some of our Brazilian friends "love it" since it waa a big hit in Brazil. :)

I always thought "My Boy" was one of Elvis' strongest performances

"Loving arms" won in front of "Good time Charlie". Good taste!

Thanks for voting and I wish you all a happy new year!

That misguided, delusional, sad character was our one and only "Jaykeisha"

It was Minkahed using a little gif of her in 2005 that inspired the thread dedicated to her [and others] in the Picture Section !

I’ve got a thing about you baby would have made for a fun song to sing live. The tempo is fun and light and would give Elvis a nice break after signing a song the likes of Bridge or How Great Thou Art. The lyrics would also be easier for Elvis to remember than, say T-R-O-U-B-L-E which he had to read the lyrics to.
