This sounds brilliant! Looking forward to buying this release. The shows I've heard from this season on previous bootlegs and FTDs are all high standard with Elvis in great voice. Thanks so much FTD!

Strange choice to use a shot from the October tour.

Hope the mastering is superior to the previous Tahoe 1974 set, that sounded so dull.

Aww, c'mon. People are up in arms on here when other labels don't use pictures from the season in question.

That said, this release looks as if it will be a vast improvement over "Elvis at His Worst, '76," the title of the most recent soundboard release...

Accused of being "a nerd in his 20s." I wish.

It will definitly be an improvement, can't really go wrong with Tahoe '74, it seems Elvis was on point for all the shows during this season.

Good release....although I thought FTD would release a 3 cd from march 74....specially because of the 50th anniversary of the Memphis show

A must have.

Once called "The World's Best Kept Secret", Elvis' performances at Stateline, NV are rarities, even half a century later. The Follow That Dream collector's label so far has released 5 complete concerts from Lake Tahoe (2 from 1973, 3 from 1974 + bonus tracks) over a 24 year time span. Now this number will be brought to 8, building upon concerts previously hinted at in the form of bonus tracks and expanding them to the max. The midnight show from May 20th will be brand new, with not a second of previously released audio.

Yes it's more of the same. But you really can't go wrong with Elvis Presley at this time and place.

I personally wouldn't mind if the label were to schedule yet another release from this particular hotel engagement, featuring both the opening and closing shows.

It's been awhile since an FTD three pack contained all shows that I don't already have or partially own. I am glad to see these were carefully selected for that alone. Let's hope the sound is equal to previously released shows from this engagement. Bravo FTD !!

Looking forward to them arriving stateside sometime in April.

Extremely happy about this 3 shows with majority of the material unheard and it looks to me if we get another rare version of 'Spanish eyes' from Lake Tahoe(unless I am wrong) I will enjoy this a whole lot more after putting the 'Summer of 1976 away!'... ::rocks

I nearly lost it thinking an October 1974 soundboard surfaced when I saw the bandage on Elvis' hand.

I would disagree on that as the Sue McCasland / Joseph Krein book "World's best kept secret: Elvis liva at Del Webb's Sahara Tahoe" has clearly shown.
Here are some samples of pictures available from the May '74 shows and I'd say that there are a number of relevant pics to use - even from the shows included on this upcoming release!

and Steamroller Blues from May 19 as well I believe.
That's what FTD said on their 'High Sierra' release.
The bonus tracks sounded pretty good on that release and that was 14 years ago (and Lene Reidel) so these will sound even better.

I am looking forward to this set.

Never heard of a Tahoe Oct 74' Soundboard but judging from audience shows that season we are far, FAR better off with more shows being released from May 74' when he was in good form after coming off from a decent short west coast tour beforehand. I am sure their would still be more unreleased Tahoe shows but getting such a great serving as this 3 x cd set that would probably be enough for me until a similar March 74' set release!

If for whatever reason they had no access to HQ Tahoe shots (even though they've shown that they have), a shot from the tour that came before would've been a wiser choice.
