Exactly what is missing from the Legacy release that is included in the FTD release (apart from the Axton interview)?

Thanks.
A 20 second snippet of dialogue which came prior to the slow version of Blue Moon of Kentucky. It remains available one the 1999 Sunrise release.

Thanks for that - I had hoped that was the case.

I got my Legacy set yesterday I really like this a lot! Even though I have the FTD original version I rarely got it out because it was so huge. This is a great product to have out for the 40th

I don't own Sunrise anymore but I vaguely recall the N word being used but not by Elvis, am I correct?

Yup. The dialogue was first heard on a 1974 bootleg, and Greil Marcus quoted it in his 1975 masterpiece, Mystery Train: Images of America in Rock 'n' Roll Music.

A throwaway comment which would have been quite common around those parts at that time. Times have changed, and I suspect that's why it's been left out. No harm leaving it out imo.

It was excised by Sony at the 11th hour.

I'm glad I have it on Sunrise. But the excellent ABFT isn't any the less by it not being there I think.
How I wish we had more studio chatter from those golden days.. Hmm. Studio chatter.. not to mention the missing songs (/takes a deep calming breath).

...never understood why this level of commitment from Japan (sets the bar so to speak) can`t be applied everywhere else...common sense

Got my copy in the mailbox yesterday. I bought it through Amazon: 20€ shipping cost included.

I am very happy with it, quality product all the way through. The sound is just amazing on the first 2 CDs. Disc #3 is a treat too. Fool, Fool, Fool (one of my favorite tracks) sounds great!

The booklet is plain awesome, just wonderful. Incredible pictures and a lot of information. Parker only appears at the end which is great because i can't stand him anymore.

All in all, it is a perfect package, the best way to celebrate the legacy of Elvis.
