A new photo for me. L-R Lamar Fike, Alan Fortas, Billy Smith, Elvis (which looks like a cut out), Sonny West and Joe Esposito with Colonel sat with the cake. This is interesting, in that it looks to be taken at the same location as the images seen of Elvis playing the drums, (example below and in the main thread) The only date I have is early december, but if there is any further info anyone has with regards to the cake in front of Colonel Parker, it could provide a date?

Looks like they forgot to carry Elvis' body down the picture (notice the window latice where Elvis' white shirt should be).................taken at a different time without Elvis actually in the picture........................Lamar looks like the picture with Elvis taken during Blue Hawaii..........................? RIP Lamar............................

I asked him if he was going to the game,and he said,"The last time I went to a game,it took 75 cops to get me out"

I recently saw an interesting item in a newspaper column from July, 1961. It mentioned Tuesday Weld was set for the lead with Elvis in "Pioneer, Go Home." Is this new/old information?

Barbie, you are absolutely correct about the first image. The original print must only feature Parker with Elvis' "Memphis Mafia" pals.

davide, the shot of Parker with Lamar Fike, Alan Fortas, Gene Smith, Delbert "Sonny" West and Joe Esposito seems to date to perhaps the time of the film's first "wrap" party in December, and may have something to do with his oddball, tongue-in-cheek fraternal order he called "The Snowmen's League of America," as the cake on the small table in front of him appears to be adorned with snowmen.

Yes - you are probably right...the whole topic needs to be revised and updated, especially since Bill Bram's article about the movie, in the magazine Elvis The Man And His Music.

Another MAGNIFICENT topic from Davide yet again. Thanks for all your effort on this. I have found some artifacts and photos releated to WITC and I post them here for everyone's perusal in the hope of adding to this topic;
Ironically, the first photo (advertising WITC) is not even from the film it's advertising!!
