Elvis probably appreciated his voice, and certainly paid some attention when girlfriend Anita Wood was a part of his 1958 summer replacement show on network TV, and was the second voice on his hit single in 1959.pacer wrote:Had to visit an elderly relative at the weekend who is a big Andy Williams fan. Like many people in the mid 1970's, he did a version of American Trilogy in his concerts. I heard it. As technically great as he was as a singer, his version was not nearly as powerful as Elvis'. And most of us who are older remember his Battle Hymn Of The Republic he sang at Robert Kennedy's funeral in 1968. That was powerful and was released as a record by him at the time.

Ronnie Tutt played drums on some of Andy's 70's studio albums.
