How much time? Too much... Why? LOL

Actually, it only took about an hour and a half, the tough part was having to put on the gold and red "S" stones one-by-one... not too bad, though.

I guarantee we will see this suit later on down the road from someone asking what show he wore this jumpsuit at. Or as a "rare" ebay photo.

Good Job :!:

Thanks, everybody!

I don't know if it looks THAT good, but I appreciate it. :D

Don't worry, it won't end up on e-bay... I'm going to sell it to RCA for use in the CD set: Elvis - "Like A Hero From Another Planet"... or was that "Prince From Another Planet"... LOL!!

I wish I could have replaced the belt with the gold award belt, but I couldn't find a shot that looked good.

Is everybody familiar with the orginal picture?

If not, is it ok with FECC if I post the original pic?

Apparently, this suit was given to Paul Lichter by Elvis himself, after they shared an intimate dinner together. His is very reluctantly selling it, which goes against all of his personal beliefs, for £500,000.

First come, first served.

DarrylMac..... ROTFLMAO!!! :D

Oh, man, that's great... "an intimate dinner".... lol....

Here's a couple of others for you all, hope you like them... here's the original pic (FECC, if you don't want these pics up, just let me know and I'll change these into links and not image views):

Image

Here is the suit without any studs on it - after I'd used my "clone stamp" tool (looks kinda cool):

Image

And, finally, a lager version of the Kal-Elvis pic:

Image

Just some comparisons I thought you might like. (for those who want full info, the red stones are scanned from one of the smaller "Aloha" stones, and the gold ones are from the green & black "Cisco Kid" suit (one piece).

Hope you like it!

Fine job Mike!

Many fans thought Elvis was 'superman' anyways. It's only fitting.

I think that is pretty cool! lol I have never seen that original picure either that you used it is FANTASTIC! They should make a photo book of all the photos Elvis took in his suite that day! These are the closest thing we have to "studio" shots of Elvis in his jumpsuits. Of course the one of him in his "Black Pyramid" suit is the most famous of these pics. Very cool!

Jeff D,

The pics are Elvis just trying out his suits, there are a bunch of them in Tunzi's book "Photographs And Memories", the red of the cape I did is by scanning a pic of Elvis trying on the "Burning Love" outfit, and using the "Clone Stamp" to get that material look on the cape (just red color would have looked weird).

That's a great book, if you get a chance to find it, you'll really like it.

You may be a little late with your request. Perhaps you should have asked him 9 years ago....
