I rendered it thru an iPhone/iPad simulator and it is looking as it should. Not familiar with iPhones. Is there a way to clear your cache?

Hi! Is it really necessary to have the feature where you can see the number of times a person has visited a topic? Do members here really like everyone to know how many times they’ve visited a topic? Just curious.

As always, appreciate all the work you do for this forum.

I agree with this point. Also, on the same subject, when you view more than one page on a given topic, your 'visit' count goes up one for each page you view.

As above, not a complaint, just an observation and a preference.

Thanks.

It can be handy to know, but not the norm.
Who is seemingly most interested in the topic, it's not something I'd want to know, but some might.
I recall that data being used on an occassion to show how many times a well known figure had visited a particular topic, I saw it only the other day, but it was in an older thread.

Yeah, I know this feature was here in the past, and some members used it against other members, but it wasn’t so in your face as it is now. It feels mildly voyeuristic* to see what other people are doing.

The forum has reverted all styles/themes to their original width to fix device compatibility issues.
You can change them back to full screen if you prefer by going to:
User Control Panel ----> Board Preferences -----> Edit Display Options
You will then be able to select "yes" or "no" for "Use Maximum Width".

The core of the upgrade has been installed. There are still some things I have to tweak here and there. But otherwise, everything appears to be working as it should!
If you have any requests or support issues, please post here.
Thank you, everyone, for your patience!
Thanks Jordan. Cool. :D

Having an issue with high CPU usage using Edge Chrome browser when viewing the All Elvis forum page for some reason. When i open two tabs (example typing this page and All Elvis on the other tab) the CPU is minimal on any other page,as soon as i click the All Elvis tab CPU shoots up to 60% just for Edge.Looking at Edge's own task manager the All Elvis tab uses between 100/110 under the CPU tab while other pages/tabs use between 1.6/4.5 CPU.This seems odd as there is no video etc running on the All Elvis page, but i have been monitoring usage on the All Elvis page for an hour and as soon as click on it CPU rises to 60%,click on a different page and CPU back down to normal usage ?.

No problem. May I ask what theme you used before? As such a cpu Spike is obviously not normal.

I was using the default modern theme.I also found it strange a static page was using so much CPU too, thats why I opened it in a separate tab so I could jump between two pages to view CPU activity. As with all things Windows when I boot up the P.C tomorrow and test this again all will be good.

NEW FEATURES ADDED:
:stars:

In the full editor (not quick reply), you will notice two new icons.

The first (top row, second from last) is a smiley.. These are different than the smileys that we have been using, and they are categorized via tabs. We will be keeping all of our old smileys.. You just have more selection! :love_you_gesture_tone2:

The second, (top row, last icon that looks like a flag).. These are "Font awesome" icons. Sort of like smiley's but completely text driven. I have been using the fa-bolt icon in my sig since the initial update. But now the complete "Font Awesome" set is available to you.

More updates as they happen!

Oddly enough now my Google Chrome Browser has some serious trouble translating the FECC pages, which hasn't been a problem before. But then I never needed or used a translator for at least fifteen years here
