"Received by the media" Hahaha. The media doesn't give a shite about a limited edition fan club only CD release with studio sessions with a gazillion takes and an improvisation that has been circulating in bootlegs, youtube and elsewhere for 30 years.

The more things change . . .

Ernst Jørgensen is a lot smarter than you, miles and miles, thank God for that.

Speaking of God, where were your complaints at when Ernst Jørgensen put out Elvis' comment on the 2021 mainstream Sony Legacy release, "Back In Nashville" where Elvis said, "...these guys would hold up the Second Coming for a cigarette, man"
prior to take 5 of "Love Me, Love The Life I Lead." Does Ernst Jørgensen think that this comment by Elvis isn't offensive towards Christians?

please, I am not of American culture and do not understand English. could you translate for me, if it is allowed, what Elvis says on this song

Bonjour, petitemimi.

Elvis chante des paroles grossières sur l'homosexualité et les Afro-Américains.
nothing that could shock me. if we heard what people (including me) say behind their doors, it might surprise you, and I'm neither homophobic nor racist, just bad taste for laughs. this “take” can remain in a drawer. Thank you for your reply.

This is an interesting period in Elvis' career, so this release will be fun to have...., I will certainly be ordering it....,

Still hoping for more live concerts...., I never tire of Elvis' live material

Will defintely get this. The cover photo is not very flattering IMHO. It’s been a while so I guess FTD wanted to release a couple of rather expensive sets. :smt006

I can't disagree with you (and I didn't take your comment seriously). It is a collector's label. Joe Public would have zero interest in a 5-CD release of outtakes. I've just heard it so many times that I don't care whether or not it is included officially or not. I do like hearing these sessions as they were recorded, so I can understand other views.

I am not overly excited about this release. Will I get it regardless?

Damn it!
It doesn't bother me either whether it is included. Like you, I've heard it so many times and like most people, I've got it. It does bother me that take 7 of U.S. Male might be missing though.

US Male take 7 won't be missing: just a typo in (copying) the information as it states 'Take 6-' and after the '-' should be '7'.

Also: the fact that the Wings Of An Angel jam isn't mentioned doesn't mean it could not be on there ;-) Let's just wait and see (hear)...

Oh yes, he is a genius for censoring a silly improvisation that happened almost 60 years ago.

Unreleased incl. False Starts and Complete takes:

Goin home takes take 1-11, 13,14,15,20 (some of these were released from acetate so i count them as unreleased)
These will be very interesting to listen to. I really hope these tracks and studio comments don't get censored.

Ernst is a very smart man so he must censor everything! We must not tarnish Elvis' reputation as a saint!

It's not "offensive to Christians," thus no complaints from anyone on Earth. Though it seems you have zero concerns over the 1968 jam.

Thank dear, sweet Jesus we have Ernst Jørgensen running the show at Follow That Dream.

Between Ernst Jørgensen and you, genius goes next to his name every day, and twice on Sunday.

So grateful you will never be within a thousand miles of the FTD team.

Isn't that a bit racist? Making fun of someone's English because they are not from an English speaking country?

Why don't you go build a wall to keep Mexicans out?

That little American man is a little American man pretending to be a big American man.

Racist, rude, condescending, pretentious, insulting...he writes some decent articles though. That's what he should stick to.

Lots of the time however, even though the articles might be interesting, he doesn’t actually write the articles but reproduces them.

That's true, I suppose he takes the trouble to track them down though. I'm trying to give him credit for his one redeeming feature.

Wasn’t there already an edited version on a previous FTD? If so, that will probably be the version we get on this set, if at all.
