Post by Rocker77 »

Hello ,

i am getting ready to transfer a stack of old vhs tapes and wanted to see what you guys think is the best brand of Dvd+r to use . I have been out of that loop for a while and did not know what is considered to be the best . I use to use Tayio Yuden in the past but i got some a few years ago i belive was not made by them and they went bad pretty quickly. What brand do you like the best and do you like the + r or the - r the best , Thanks

I havent burned a dvd in a long time but I do blurays from time to time.
I have always used Verbatim ever since I got my first cd burner in the 90s.

I also use the Verbatim brand.
If they are videos of great importance to you, I recommend keeping a digital backup on one —or more— external hard drives, because DVDs are bound to get damaged over time.

All of my Elvis stuff is on an external hard drive for instant access all day, every day. My hard copies are elsewhere in my room.
