Re: Tinkering With Colour
This image has been hanging around for ages, it has always annoyed me how badly it was photoshopped! I mean just look at the foot and the leg? I did see the original years ago and there was somebody in the audience who was in the way. I can't seem to be able to find now?
Anyway, enough. I thought I would do a a photoshop job on it (not as terrible as the first job) and it it a bit of a color job on it too.
Hope you like it.

Re: Tinkering With Colour
There is something about the Gold Lame' suit, It's like the saying "A picture paints a thousand words". For the onlooker in the 1950's It sums up so many words, for example:- "lavish" "Glamourous" "Opulent" "Shocking" "Goudy" "daring" or "Spectacular". However, one thing it is NOT, It is not pedestrian! There are certain milestones in Elvis' life, this is one of the early ones and it doesn't lose significance in a life full of milestones. If there were such a thing as time machines, this would be one of the first things I would want to see.

Re: Tinkering With Colour
Found this photo of King Creole wardrobe test on the internet, so I did a bit of a quick clean up. I still like the original as it has the Sellotape on the sides showing it was once on a wall somewhere.

Re: Tinkering With Colour
What's not to like about any photo from 1970?
