The New FTD Or The Boot?
What's your deal? Will it be the official release of the August 13, 1970 show, the unofficial release, both, or neither?

C & E
Although for C I've actually had it and passed it on already.

I saw Elvis live in concert the year before he died. Even then, he was bigger than life, and had amazing charisma. Haven't seen anything like it since, ....until Adam.........Nocturnal 2010

On a technical note, why are we offered two options ?Rob wrote:What's your deal? Will it be the official release of the August 13, 1970 show, the unofficial release, both, or neither?
Having selected one, it's not possible to choose a second that doesn't contradict it.

Not at all, ColinB: the second option must always be the last one ("I'm going to wait and see what Rob is going to do, then I'll do the same. I love Rob").

You can't opt for one course of action and then say you're 'waiting to see what Rob does' before you choose, can you ?

It is now possible. I added an option that I accidentally left out before. Unfortunately, it messed up the vote count, though I'm not sure why. The voting will have to start over.ColinB wrote:On a technical note, why are we offered two options ? Having selected one, it's not possible to choose a second that doesn't contradict it.
My apologies.
One can also change their vote if they need to.

Hi,
well, i don't have the three "complete" pressings (Complete Works, Stranger In The Crowd, The Wonder Of You) yet, but i'm pretty sure that mad completists will need the three to have the complete gig from start to finish. So am I.
See You

The first option for me. But I love Rob (in a Wyatt Earp/Doc Holliday sorta way).

Re: The New FTD Or The Boot?
My vote is . . .
(a) I'm definitely getting the FTD.
I originally did have the Audionics CD ordered, but cancelled it after hearing the FTD news.
Can't wait to get it.

Are you reviving all these ancient topics as a tribute to Elvis on his death day?
