Re: Demos for Elvis # 2
It's out of the scope of demo versions but I will underline scene 35 from Jailhouswe rock:
scene 35 – Florita Club (shoot 23-05-57)
Vince watches as Sam does number; Vince meets Peggy:
Vince sings (music playback Young and beautiful track 2006)
Vince knocks table over when man heckles him;
scene 35 – (retake) Florita Club (shoot 24-05-57):
Shoot on 24 may 1957 scene 35: when Elvis jumps from the stage to the drunk:
he smashes his guitar above the drunk (in the movietrailer) - picture 1
he smashes his guitar above the table (in the movie) - picture 2

I'll touch a star
The song was written by Dolores Fuller-Ben Weisman-Fred Wise; the demo version was rejected for IHATWF but registered at Gladys Music (ASCAP).
The song was recorded late 1963 by Terry Stafford (Crusader C 105). On the backside of this 45 rpm you'll find Playing with fire recorded in 1964. Another rejected song (for the movie Blue Hawaii).
