Forum seems slow lately

I'm not sure if it's just my computer but the forum seems to be running a little slow lately... specifically going from page to page within the different directories. I get a white page for an extended period of time and even have to refresh it every so often...

I'm OK with the speed. Not sure what's going on with a lot of double posts that I'm seeing from a select few lately.

I'm pretty sure it's operator error.

It's because after you click submit it's a little slow. You have to be patient and wait a few more seconds but some people will hit the submit button twice. That results in the double posts.

It's weird... I keep getting these white pages when I click on a topic... then i have to use the backpage and refresh... never had that problem before.

Like what. Does the white page say this website is timed out or this website can't connect? Because if that's the case that happened to me from time to time before but it stopped after awhile. I figured that was a problem with this site. If you aren't having that problem with any other websites that you visit it's likely a problem with the forum.

It doesn't say anything... it's just a completely blank page. But when I reload it, it kicks me back to the main FECC page. I haven't had it happen on any other site...

I'd send the FECC mechanic a Private message and explain it to him. Or whoever is in charge of that sorta thing on this forum these days. If it doesn't happen on any other site like you say it's this forum. It's strange that it doesn't appear to happen with anyone else but stranger things have happened.

It might be my browser too.. i use chrome... but I'm becoming more and more dissatisfied with chrome... I'll try it using Microsoft Edge and see if I have the same problem...

It's probably lagging because of the signatures with the gifs. I personally think that should be banned, sometimes it's impossible to read thru a thread with all the signatures it's a mess. The forum needs a good relooking tbh

There's no problem when I view the website on MS Edge so it must be an issue with Chrome... been having difficulties with Chrome the past while... unfortunately it seems to be the only browser that saves your bookmarks in the cloud...
