I guess my topic from the day before, with one of the same pictures, wasn't good enough to leave them there?
Elvis Presley in his "Class A" --> Ray Barracks Oct '58 !

No worries. They are very nice images.

O yes, I loved your topic! However, my contribution was completely ignored by the OP'er, so I thought I make another topic myself . No big deal. Even your topic title is better.drjohncarpenter wrote:I guess my topic from the day before, with one of the same pictures, wasn't good enough to leave them there?
This might have been the source from my source. I remember I got them somewhere from Flickr back then. They appear to be sourced from this webpage:

Have you ever thought about leaving your contributions on another person's topic for longer than ~200 minutes?

When that OP'er does respond to two other non-contributing people in those 200 minutes but not to someone who does contribute content wise? No. Why should I?

Those are some beautiful photos... seems a shame not to know the origin of them. These "crops" appear to be taken from a book... anyone know for sure??

It wouldn't surprise me if the real source of these images is LIFE (magazine).

Re: HUGE not often seen army-pics (HQ)
On my topic I replied to exactly one person: the first who contributed a comment. Then you pulled your photos. The suggestion a member who doesn't upload something to a topic may be called "non-contributing" is inexplicable, not to mention why a share from you comes with a swift deadline.MikeFromHolland wrote:drjohncarpenter wrote:Have you ever thought about leaving your contributions on another person's topic for longer than ~200 minutes?
