Thanks for that. It neatly reminded me that the publicity still that you have posted/page 14 must have been taken before the date of 27/28/29 June, so could well be from around the 6th of June timeframe (I have this date,though I have the info missing at present). As can be seen below the still can be seen in the hands of a crew member at the end of the production (around the 24th June)

Hi Davide, the person who got it was a crew grip at the studios at the time. It was apparently signed in the spring of 1960... I'm thinking May or early/mid June? That picture showing the still is a great one for me to have! So I applaud you for posting that. Do you have that particular picture any larger by any chance? As the pic on image shack is quite small.

I'm afraid I don't have the photo any larger - Interesting story about where the photo was obtained.

I have this image - which I had in my file, which I took to be the same as the one originally posted on the lower left of page 9. Looking closer, they are ever so slightly different.

Maybe I'll find it bigger somewhere...great images Davide! Some of the other pics from that shoot I think are much nicer rather than the one Elvis or someone else chose for him to sign. Why choose one where Elvis is looking down?! I much prefer the side glance ones but maybe that's just my preference?

This one reminded me of something that puzzled me for a long time.

There is a lengthy scene where the baby is required to cry throughout.

So, what did they do to it to induce the tears ?

I can't imagine they had their star & all the crew just sitting around waiting hours for 'Tiger' to do it naturally !

Maybe they had all six babies on hand, with the idea that one of them would be crying at any given time !

I always thought those were from "Blue Hawaii" time. 1961. I have been wrong all these years?

Just a small update - the image below has a stamp of June 6 1960, which would indicate that indeed at least two photo session's took place.

I know of three shots of Elvis on the tank - 2 were printed in black and white in the book "A date with Elvis" but the colour one above is different to both of those.
