Hello my friends, this thread is going to feature many notable artists who at one time or another waxed a coca cola jingle (or more than one) mostly from 1960's vintage, i hope you'll like and find interesting.

Produced for Spain, along with a few shots from Brazil and Argentina markets, features a delightful Latin brass midsection edited in the advert

Ahh yes ! found two (new to me) one by Johnny Young (australian 60's pop singer icon) the other by Dave, Dee Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich, a british outfit that was big in the late 1960's.

Johnny's coke add is clearly based on his cover aussie hit of Cara-Lin (first waxed by The Strangeloves) !

A Roy Orbison three-pack, this vid features three of his 1966 jingles, my favourite is the second "Stayed Out too Late" , it's certainly my pleasure to add Roy in a sparkling 60's coca-cola context...






There's also a fourth C-O-L-A jingle, done to the music of "Lana"

LOL, I found another one new to me, and perfect addition here, is australia's Wild man of Rock, Doug PARKINSON's , this is his 1967 TV add...




Here's Doug's 1969 radio jingle.


For our British and american friends, you can see his trademark scruffy and spikey hairstyle in the photo.




Back in 1969, Doug waxed a reworked long, rock version on The Beatles Dear Prudence (not unlike Joe Cocker's reworking on With a Little Help from my Friends).

A 1960 live commercial from Australian television. Huge surprise because television in this country really did not start before 1959 nationally across Australia. There was limited coverage in 1956 but only available in mainland capital cities mainly Sydney and Melbourne just in time for the Melbourne Olympics (October, 1956)

Coca Cola - Apollo Moon Mission 1969 Commercial...

Before the Apollo 8 lunar flight, almost everyone wondered what the other side of the moon looked like. The secret was disclosed in this 1969 commercial which saluted the successful Apollo 8 moon mission.

Found a 2.5 minute, unusually long record by Dave, Dee, Dozy, Beaky Mich & Tich, a late 1960's record that segues to Petula Clark (her third) Coke add. Difficult to edit and separate the two, i tried for my own copy with Nero Wav editor.
