Sure seems like the "Elvis In Concert" show is the inspiration here. I saw that event twice, one was spectacular, the other very good.

It won't be exactly the same as seeing Johnny Cash on the stage, but it's better than a hologram or some cheap imitation. I had the privilege of seeing him perform, and the first words out of his mouth were "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." It felt like one of the faces on Mt. Rushmore started speaking.

Thanks for the heads-up, I hadn't heard a thing about this project.

You're welcome! Thanks for the reply. Your words (that I enlarged) almost gave me goosebumps! :D

I also hadn't heard anything about it until I ran across it last night.

I don't have any interest in this, but I sure enjoyed seeing the real thing on January 30, 1988 at the Louisville Gardens.

If it comes to the netherlands i would love to see it, the statement in the trailer says bringing Johnny Cash and his music back to fans all around the world.. yet the tour is only USA based..

Right. International touring is expensive. If it is profitable in the U.S. it will go forward to other territories.
