interesting find. I do not remember seeing this movie, but liked Pier Angeli and Richard Attenborough's roles in THE ANGRY SILENCE (1960). Both co-starred in this film - S.O.S Pacific, along with John GREGSON.

good one here as Michael Craig talks about THE ANGRY SILENCE, one of the best ever drama movies, certainly from the 1960's vintage :D

ahhh YES !!!

Found a 50's film with Queen Sophia :D :smt007 :smt007 :smt007

One of her first inglese since she moved to Hollywood and became an international phenom.
The Black Orchid co-stars Anthony Quinn and very young looking Ina Balin. Look forward to watching this.

Not one but two vid's on THE NAKED EDGE (1961) available online. But take a look at the differences running times.

The second vid may well be lifted from PAL source , where more often than not, these play at a slightly fast speed.

About 4 mins shorter.
That is similar to a lot of other films between PAL and NTSC, 4 mins.

Donald Sutherland, one of the true greats of cinema. Passed away not too long ago at 88., RIP

Here's one of my favorites by him...it's a mystery/thriller from 1978 called "Blood Relatives" directed by Claude Chabrol.

ITC Logo History -

The Incorporated Television Company, abbreviated as ITC, was founded by Lew Grade in 1954 as the distribution unit of ATV (Associated Television). The company branched out into TV series and film production, and they were brought by PolyGram in 1995. The company ceased operations when PolyGram was brought by Seagrams and Sons in December 1998. ITC is best known for being the company behind many successful British cult TV filmed series during the 1960s and 1970s.

Pretty Poison (1968) is a psychological thriller that turns a seemingly innocent love story on its head.

Anthony Perkins stars as a troubled young man who, upon release from a mental institution, embarks on a dangerous liaison with a high school cheerleader played by Tuesday Weld, who proves far more sociopathic than he could ever be.

This darkly comic and twisted film offers an unexpected take on who truly is the predator and who is the prey.

fine interview here with the late, great Mitzi Gaynor. I decided to add it here in tribute rather than to start up another thread.

Hows about this 1977 record by the Go-Betweens called "Lee Remick". Not only they wrote and waxed a record, but the album too was titled "Lee Remick". They got their information wrong, however, as Lee was in fact born in the USA.

i tried to watch Torn Between Two Lovers (1979) but found it fairly pedestrian. It was very much the telemovie of it's era where the movie title speaks for itself!!

It's not that it was bad storyline but it was predictable and does not hold up well over 45 years later.
However, I'm sure if i viewed it in the eighties my interest would have been different.
