I'd say it was the summer of 63 at least, the curl in the hair and what looks like his jacket during the filming of "Viva Las Vegas"

Great find but I would have to agree it was taken late '63 or even '64 as the belt looks like the one used in Roustabout, but of course Elvis could have worn one at any time.
Visited Needles in 2009 whilst staying in Laughlin Nevada, it sure was a lot hotter than Scotland!
