I wonder whatever happened to that outfit? EPE might still have it.

FRom Silvester's great page

White Checkerboard Suit

White jumpsuit with square nails. It was inspired by a checkerboard pattern.
The rare suit was made with a white Macrame Belt, but Elvis prefer wore his
International Gold Belt in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe from Feb. to July 1971.

That's also the best shot of the ten 3D slides made in Feb 1971 by photographer Joe Pulliam.

If you have $35,000, you may start the bidding in exactly one week:

It's actually not a picture, it's taken from a 3D slide:

It may be a slide and not a print, but it's definitely a picture.

Oh yes - thanks Doc.

Is this the first time that we know of, that 3D slides were made from an Elvis concert? Who would have thought these existed at all? Just when you think you've seen everything regarding Elvis . . .

For "reference purposes" here are all ten of the slide images...

Wouldn't it great to have them all published at full size sometime?

I don't know how this is a 3D slide. After doing a crop the images aren't even close to stereo. Guess it has to be full resolution for it to work.

OH MAN OH MAN it is in 3D.

My hobby is 3D so I was sceptical but yes this is true stereoscopic viewing.
I have the stereo camera's and viewers and such.
This is really great stuff.
I will make copies for myself since these are the first true 3D Elvis I have ever seen.
Cool.
They can be viewed as 3D if you know how to "freeview" them without a viewer.
Or they can be copied and made into a stereoview card, which is what I will do.
Thanks for posting this.

Equipment or not...you have tested this??

I myself did a simple crop and it doesn't connect. Major problems....look at Elvis right leg NOT EVEN CLOSE...look at his mouth.

I have to see better quality, but so far it doesn't add up to 3D.

It took me one minute to check to find out if it was true stereo photography, ie 3D. It is.
Forget his right leg for a minute. The quality is very nice and since they are the only 3D slides
I have ever seen this is a treasure.
You can crop or not crop, that will not change a true stereoscopic slide one way or another.
No cropping is needed.
