looks like the scene where he's taken her to the hotel, for the "party with the fellas". Maybe in this deleted scene, they did go in, before he did the decent thing and took her home. In the movie, did they actually go in to the room? I can't remember, but seem to to think he she saw through it, and they left without going in.

In the movie they don't go in.

Because his name isn't George.

There are several in Ger Rjiffs book Inside King Creole,

including one where Delores Hart is undoing the back

of her dress.

It's possible that they simply rehearsed the scene and some stills were taken.

Then they changed their mind before filming 'proper' began.

Certainly, in the released version, they don't go in the bedroom, so it's not like they cut a bit out later.

There's also a chance the more explicit version was filmed but never used.............

As fascinating as it would have been to see Elvis in a 'naughty' scene, I reckon they made the right choice.

The 'Nelly' character would never have gone into a hotel room with a man & started to undress.

She would have run a mile - just like she did !

Would still like to see the deleted scenes though [if they exist].

But in the movie doesn't she say something along the lines of "If this is what it takes to see you again then OK - let's go in" and it's Danny who decides against it?

Well, I must confess, I haven't seen it in a while.

I thought she said something like:

"I want to be your friend, Danny, but not like this !" and then split the scene.

If only I had the energy [or the enthusiasm] I guess I could look it up.

I found the energy from somewhere and looked it up.

After Danny invites her into the room she says, "I don't know. I've never been in a place like this before. But I want to see you again. Is this the way?"

After more conversation Danny eventually says, "The party's over. Let's go."

I always thought that she didn't want to go in but she would, most reluctantly, if that was the only way to keep him. But, with his soft-centre, Danny stopped pushing.

Well done, Spelly.

That's kinda the way I remembered it.

Let's say that if the 'Nelly' character was reluctant [and she would be] the 'Danny' character wouldn't have pushed things [and he didn't].

The 'naughtier' scene wouldn't have fitted, somehow.

Probably the first ever published Nelly-Danny-zipper picture (not included in the "Inside King Creole") is in "The Films And Career of Elvis Presley" by Steven and Boris Zmijewsky (the first print in 1976). On page 114 there is the following shot...

Thanks everyone for the replies, and for the photo Steve.
So it looks like maybe this scene was filmed after all.
..Rumors that after the Crawfish song, there were a lot more exchange
between Danny and the ladies from across street, that was cut from the film as well!?!
