Thanks! I don't know that either. It's amazing how many photos of Elvis there are.

I know that shows from 1977 are not liked by many but i do like this show a lot. Elvis performed very well that evening despite what happened earlier on in the hotel bathroom.

Very well how?
I am asking sincerely, because I am curious about what is it that fans like about performances like these.

You can judge for yourself. There is a good audience recorded cd called "The Road To Nowhere" and is available om Youtube. There were some good shows on this tour ,Knoxville, Augusta, both Binghamton shows, Jacksonville and Mobile spring to mind.

By this point in Elvis' career, you could pretty much tell immediately how a concert was going to go from the first notes of CC Rider.
Our Hero sounds very unwell from his very first utterances of CC Rider. Bless him for giving it his all, but he sounds tired throughout and relieved to get to CHFIL and in a hurry to get off stage and go. Poor Elvis — he definitely soldiered thru.

I was at this show sitting in the tenth row center. He didn't look too bad for a feller who had supposedly had his head dunked in a bucket of ice water a couple of hours earlier.
The show is much better when you're sitting there watching in person compared to listening to an average sounding audience recording.

Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.
You're a beautiful audience.

Re: Louisville, May 21st '77
I think he sings very well for most of the show including a spirited version of Thats Alright which is sung at a good tempo and not the speeded up versions from late '76 and February '77. There are good performances of My Way, Hurt, Mountain, It's Now Or Never, Little Sister. He throws in a decent performance of Heartbreak Hotel and Funny How Time Slips Away. There are of course the usual throwaway scarf throwing performances of Teddy Bear/Don't Be Cruel and Hound Dog but overall it's an enjoyable show in my opinion.Much better than the show there the previous July.

Re: Louisville, May 21st '77
Doc, how many of Elvis's inner circle corroborated the ice bucket story? Did the original tale come from Larry Geller? What other details from the incident do we know?
I notice Peter Guralnick briefly mentions in 'Careless Love' that Elvis had to be revived in Louisville.
A very sad tour this - the only bright spot was the introduction of 'I Really Don't Want To Know' in Jacksonville on 30th May.
