What a nice discovery. Never heard of John Verzi but I'm grateful for his fan obsession leading to so many super color slides of so many famous Hollywood icons from the past,

The second link notes that "Elvis Presley sits in the backseat of his car as he leaves a movie studio lot. The date on the slide is June 7, 1962."

Elvis looks like a movie star. Wait -- he WAS a movie star.

The lot he was leaving was Paramount Studios. It was Thursday, June 7, 1962. Principal photography for "Girls! Girls! Girls!" was completed the next day, and after a few more tasks Elvis was done with the film.

In ten days he'd have Priscilla Beaulieu visit for two weeks. She stayed with him at his current rented digs at 10539 Bellagio Road for a day or so before they all went to Las Vegas for most of her time in the U.S.

She would be back in December . . .
