Yeah, still thinking how to deal with this problem. I can do a print copy but the costs will be very high.
Further more, it's more a gift to the Elvis fan base, not want to make money out of it. But the danger will be that everyone can and will use the photos for shady products like you said.
Second problem will be copyright issues. That i bought most of the photos doesn't mean i own the rights to them, so this is also a big problem. I want to give and share but need to tackle these issues before i proceed. Any help regarding this problem would be appreciated.

If anyone can and is willing to help out regarding copyright problems i will face when i publish this book it will be very appreciated. I have never done this before. I personally don't think i can pull this of on my own. I really want to share my collection with all but this isn't happening if i will face lawsuits.
If someone has experience with these matters they can contact me through a private message.

Further more i did some research regarding publishing this project and it would be possible to print hardcover books for a low price. So it will be done if necessary only on pre order. For a small price. But i don't want the price to be higher then an ftd cd release. So that it will be affordable for all. But this is for a later date.

An E-Book was my first thought and still is. Like i said, my intention is to make it free for everyone, because to me, Elvis is for everyone. I don't want a dime for it, it's a gift like i said. But the question remains, how do i handle it the right way without getting myself into alot of trouble, in a legal way. And protect the photos at the same time.

Think i found the solution for protecting my photos.

Ebook DRM software like Locklizard Safeguard for example, enables you to prevent copy and paste of ebook content, add non-removable dynamic watermarks to deter photos and photocopies, prevent screenshots, disable printing, and lock ebooks to devices so they cannot be shared.

The thing is; i've been through alot during the last 1.5 years and it made me realize that nothing is forever. I have been collecting publicity photos since i was a teenager and always found it awesome to have something that was special, no one had. Now many years went by and i know now that this isn't the Elvis way. i won't be around forever, life can be short and it can be long but you can't take things with you when you go. I'm ready to share my collection of rare publicity photos but in a way it will do the Elvis legacy justice. And further more, for all to enjoy.
The legal problems will be solved one way or the other, i'm sure of it.

No, you are right. But even though we have seen most of the photos, i have plenty that haven't been seen. Plus all my photos i will use for A Life in Portraits will be in very high quality. Either way, it will be nice to have.
Plus it will be free for everyone, so a win win.

High quality will be the standard, not a very common thing in Elvis Photo Books.
