Elvis is wearing his TCB ring which I don't believe he was wearing in 1974. Also the sideburns appear different than October 1974.

I don't know about rings, but looks more like 1974 and sideburns are not as large as they were in 1977. The belt is loose, and has no white gap showing around the belt buckle (on one side, anyhow) which definately happened when he was wider.

It can't be - he didn't own the TCB ring in 1974, and he has his Chai necklace on, also a 1977 item.

It's definitely a 1977 picture.

Francesc may be right: the picture could very well be from Greensboro NC, April 21, 1977. Green tape and red tape down the cord matches with the Harold Newton photo of this show.
