Elvis seems tired but given how busy he'd been for the previous ten days, eleven shows from TX to AZ, back to TX then CA and HI, that's a lot.

Despite all that he spent about an hour during this PR gambit, the announcement to the press was just part of it.

I just watched the clip again. I am afraid I still can see the same things, but going by your reply, I am assuming the appearance had to do with perhaps tiredness, and not any impairment due to medication.
