Footage Nov. 25, 1956 with sound (dubbed)

Post by MikeFromHolland »

.

Over two years ago (2013) we were surprised by the find of this wonderful piece of footage as presented in a news feature from WHAS11 TV. Elvis playing at the Armory, Louisville, Kentucky at November 25,1956:

Elvis Presley - Kentucky ( November 25, 1956)
Posted on YouTube by Marmar on Nov. 24, 2013.
..

It was silent footage and finally someone dubbed sound to it. That makes for a quite different experience. Very exciting to say the least. Don't know who did this, but (s)he did a wonderful job. What do you think?

Fantastic! These are the types of topics I love to see on an Elvis messageboard.
Well done Mike for bringing it up.
How sad it is that we don't have more performance footage from the 50s but I think I've enjoyed this clip more than ever before with the sound.

Great. But to me it sounds like the drums are mixed in instead of having the official drums. i could be wrong though. Great find nonetheless. Keep it up.
