For more information about this session: http://www.keithflynn.com/recording-sessions/560702.html

The historical session that gave us Hound Dog, Don't Be Cruel and Anyway You Want Me...

Most photos made by Alfred Wertheimer, some (mostly with the guitar) by William "PoPsie" Randolph*.

*thanks to matilda and drjohncarpenter for mentioning this!. Excuse me for some duplications here and there.

If you have more. Please add!

Lots of wonderful images from a legendary day. There are more than a few repeated images, did you notice this? Also, bear in mind many of these linked photos will sooner or later disappear. One image is reversed, here's the corrected shot:

Finally, not all of these photos are by Alfred Wertheimer. Also present at this session was famous New York celebrity photographer William "PoPsie" Randolph. These are some of his work:

Thanks Mike, you work with the speed of light. Lots of nice pics. It was hard to take a bad picture of Elvis, such charisma.

And doc, thanks for the follow up. You two make up a good team.

@ moderators:care to explain why my posting vanished? I was the first to comment on that (even mike mentioned it.....so he saw my post obviously)....so why was my posting deleted?

I didn't post earthshattering things ..just pointed out some things.
Why delete my posting? Just to give somebody else, in this case the doc, credit for mentioning it first?

If that's the case i delete my account here.
I did not post anything offensive. Just mentioned that some pics were posted 3 times amd some reversed and some pics weren't from wertheimer rather than from Popsie.

I am really offended deleting my post just to serve somebody well known here!!!!!!!!!
This is childish and really offensive! !!!!!

Hi Matilda,

You're confusing two topics. This one and this one:

http://www.elvis-collectors.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=91832#p1464125

So there's nothing wrong. Your (and other's) input and comments are highly appreciated by me!

Are you referring to me here?

As is quite clear, you made a mistake. No posts were deleted for any reason, by anyone.
