New to my eyes as well. It appears to be from when Elvis was on location in Hawaii for Paramount's "Girls! Girls! Girls!" circa April 1962. Singer Patti Page was married at the time to the film's stager of musical numbers, Charles O'Curran. If you look at Elvis' watch, it is just around 12 noon. Lunch: one hour!

Thanks, Mike. I wonder where this picture was taken? Hollywood? On the set of World's Fair movie?

Always a pleasure. The "new" 1962 shot is kind of neat. Both Patti Page and Elvis are nicely tan, and Page has a camera hanging around her neck. Clearly, she and husband Charles O'Curran were going site-seeing that afternoon. She had a fabulous career.jurasic1968 wrote:Sorry, Mike, i didn't read the Doc's post. "Tennessee Waltz," her signature tune, is known from Elvis in a couple of piano-based, 1966 home demos.

Nice to hear them again in this context!
To make it complete, here's the original by Cowboy Copas:
Cowboy Copas the original version of Tennessee Waltz 1948
..
I like the label .
And the version by Patti Page. She received her 6th gold record for her 1950 recording of "Tennessee Waltz":
