It appears they are at WHBQ Radio, and DJ Dewey Phillips is proudly holding a promo copy of Elvis' new single, "All Shook Up," released in late-March 1957. My suspicion is that all of the Memphis shots of Elvis in the orange V-sweater are from this time frame. Note this photo in the Poplar Tunes record shop of Elvis sitting in a personalized director's chair, possibly a reference to his first starring movie role.
