FECC Forum Running A Bit Slow???

Hey jordan there is something wrong.. on the main page with all the sections the software forum seems to have no posts saying next to it

Edit.. i seem to have fixed it by replying with this.. it was odd to see it say no posts

It did it for me, all day until about 4:00pm. I logged on again just now, and it was OK. I assumed that it was deliberate, and you were doing something behind the scenes.

On the plus side I've not noticed any freezing or buffering, or general slowness, recently.

In my case, the last few hours have been very slow loading FECC for me. (and still is so far)

Thanks @johnny2523 for the report. I've been closely monitoring this today, and the amount of visits/traffic seams to be peaking (unnaturally) almost every day during these hours. Once I obtain some more data over the next couple of days, I will be able to begin to formulate a plan to reduce such spikes, and the associated lag. Some more tweaks are definitely in order! Thanks again for the report.

Can't speak for that I'm afraid. But I did go downstairs without holding onto the hand rail this morning. It was pretty impressive.

I logged in once this morning, when i went to post a topic i was asked to log in again, i went to do this and it came up RED telling me i had exceeded my log in attempts, i always have my name and password saved so only need to log in, question is has someone tried logging into my account? Or is this a glich.

It was a glitch with the "user sessions" table of the database. All should be well now.

Everything should now be back to normal. I apologize for the slowdowns experienced previously. Everything should be "snappy" once again.

It was a glitch with the "user sessions" table of the database. All should be well now.

For the last week or so, I've been having similar problems. Only on my Android phone, not the laptop. I go to the site and it never remembers that I'm logged in, so I log in again and then it's ok. I go to post something and it tells me I can't post unless I'm logged in... Etc, etc.

I use what I think they call the Desktop version. Not the mobile, not Tapatalk. It's like being sat at my laptop. It's now working, but as I said after working ok it suddenly went wrong again. Maybe it was a one off, we'll see.

...and now, just to keep you up to date, it's taking forever to access pages. Only on the Android 'phone, not on my Windows laptop.
