I doubt Elvis would have picked Frost, but '69 would've been a good time for Elvis to have done a interview type show format.

69 would have been a perfect time for a return/reunion with Sullivan who was still featuring the hot music acts of the day every week or a guest spot with Johnny Carson. Both shows were done in NYC so that probably was a negative. Maybe a Laugh-In cameo was the best bet if there was to be any TV at all.
