I'm just not a fan of the image Straight Arrow used on this release, so I replaced it with a better shot from the same show.

Nicely chosen, Steamroller' ! :)

This 1st show (1973) show would also make a good candidate for a merge (hybrid) of the available audience recording (SA) and the FTD soundboard, that would combine the best of both worlds, perhaps someday somebody with technical expertise can do this.. for other artists like Jimi Hendrix they (technical wizards operating from home using software) make hybrids of their concerts all the time.

Joe Krein interview with Sherril Nielsen: "YOU KNOW YOU FORGET HOW GOOD HE REALLY WAS. I SAID MY GOODNESS. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE WITH HIM YOU ARE SO WRAPPED UP DOING THE SHOW, BUT HERE NOW 20 YEARS LATER, I HEAR HIM AND REALIZE WHAT A GREAT TALENT HE WAS. HE WAS THE REAL DEAL.

Agreed, I'd love to hear that!

And don't think I forgot about the 1976 covers haha. I did a test and printed them out and it looks nice. I'll try to scan in the back cover with the side fold sometime in the next few days.. :smt001

Thank you! I've been tied up with Psychology homework as of late, so making covers kinda fell by the wayside. Here's one I finished up that I never posted! :smt001

Huh, I haven't visited this in a while. Here's a hypothetical, and some wishful thinking on my part: if FTD were able to locate soundboards for all three of the Asheville shows from 1975, I'd like them presented in the compilation format, thus removing concert bloat and such. It would also show Elvis' set at the time to be quite diverse and somewhat contemporary. Here's my vision...
