Am I stupid?
Hello!
Some of you might be happy, but I have problems by creating my next album poll (Back in Memphis). How do I place options down below? It was very easy before.
Can someone please explain?
Thank you!

Re: Am I stupid?
No you certainly are not Bjorn!
I made a Poll not so long ago so hopefully I can help out..
Where it says Poll Options .. you can now have 10 .. as you type your question on each line .. a little bar appears at the side and you get more space to type.
Hope that helps!!

I saw Elvis live in concert the year before he died. Even then, he was bigger than life, and had amazing charisma. Haven't seen anything like it since, ....until Adam.........Nocturnal 2010

Re: Am I stupid?
Hi and thanks for the answer. My problem is, that where you can read "Poll options...you can now have 10...", I can´t see any lines or bars. Just a big field!? Still needs help

Re: Am I stupid?
Ok.. no problem.
First of all type choice 1
then 2
then 3 ...
the more choices you type in .. you will find the box gets bigger and the bar appears

Bjorn -- a side question.dreambear wrote:Some of you might be happy, but I have problems by creating my next album poll (Back in Memphis). How do I place options down below? It was very easy before.
You have done so many polls on this forum -- you must have a reason behind it, other than for fun.
What is it?

No special reasons, beside that I´m a bit tired of the same songs on different compilations. So I decided to check out which songs that are most popular by "real fans". And the fun is, that there are a lot of "underground" classics that deserves to be better known by the average listener. But no, I have nothing to do with BMG, neihter have I a book in mind. Beside that, I´m a bit of a fan of statistics. The sad thing is, that I last couple of months, has got very little time for this because of job and family reasons, which makes it very annoying that I have a hard time with the technical side of the polls right now.
So the answer is simple: Pure fun, nothing else!

And yes there are a fair few "hidden" gems on various "LPs".

Re: Am I stupid?
Yes indeed! Even on albums like PHS. I´m just reading "The rough guide to Elvis Presley". I was very satisfied that the author mentions a long forgotten gem like "Sand castles".BIGREDG wrote:Pure fun is good !!dreambear wrote:So the answer is simple: Pure fun, nothing else!

Re: Am I stupid?
The next question is, why did it take you 6 months to answer? Thorough consideration of all pros and cons?

What, you mean the audio equivalents of the DVD 'Easter Eggs' ?BIGREDG wrote:And yes there are a fair few "hidden" gems on various "LPs".
How do you access them then ?
Run the turntable backwards ?

Re: Am I stupid?
Here is a hint. There is an "endless" groove that is usually blank and that cannot be accessed with automatic record players, for it will pull back the arm before it gets there.ColinB wrote:What, you mean the audio equivalents of the DVD 'Easter Eggs' ?BIGREDG wrote:And yes there are a fair few "hidden" gems on various "LPs".
