Just received this CDr release. What a fantastic show!! It is September 2 1973, and I think the show has been out before on another Cdr called High Spirits. I think the speed was wrong on the previous release, but this one is spot on, and this is probably the best sounding audience recording I have heard (and these old ears have heard many )
Elvis is in great humour for this show, and gives a long 68 minute performance. Great versions of The First Time, What Now My Love, My Boy, Mystery Train/Tiger Man, Bridge, Can't Stop Loving You, Release Me +++
What really makes the show special is Elvis humorous asides and ad libbing in the songs - he really sounds like he is enjoying himself out there!!!
Get it if you can is my advice, even if you are not an audience recordings fan!!!

The sound is phenomenal!!! The most listenable audience recording I have heard - twin mikes hung at either end of the balcony according to the liner notes. Not quite soundboard, but in some ways more interesting than a soundboard as it has a great live "feel".
I played it through twice straight off which I have not done with an audience show since I first heard Pittsburgh!!
Very nice glossy artwork too - shame it could not have been silver disc.
