This song is making me feel old. Turned 29 today. It does just slip away.

Re: Funny How Time Slips Away - 1969
Well, except for the fact that "Funny How Time Slips Away" is a song about regret, about a break-up where former partners run into each other for a brief moment.
What has "slipped away" is the time since they were in love.
Incidentally, in Elvis' case I know exactly who he was thinking about when he recorded this.
As for you, born in 1995 and a member of FECC since you were 16 (!!), you have a long, long way to go. Surely you have to feel young here, being surrounded by so many fossils.

Life is precious. Tomorrow ain't promised. Enjoy your birthday!

Heh. I've had a topic brewing on this for years. No one has ever figured it out. It was a confluence of events.
Although not everyone here seems to enjoy my contributions, I'll see if I can put it together.
