I was searching some rare Elvis vinyl and came across this. It's a blatant rip off - but thought it might be of interest. Does anyone know any more information?
It's interesting what's written on the back cover -
"Additional Authenticating Letters And Documents Are On File. To The Best Of Our Knowledge And Research, This Was His First Paid Professional Studio Recording."

Can't remember off hand who the singer actually was , but rest assure it's not Elvis. This was one of the hoax records that was released during the Elvis buying craze that was going on due to his passing in late '77 early '78 along with the masked Orion stuff. I had this 45 when released and it sounds nothing close to our man.

The singer's name's Michael CON-ley and that says it all imho.

Hey - my first post!!
I recall back in 77-78 a local NYC AM radio station was playing this song and conducted a vote as to whether or not it was Elvis. It so obviously was NOT Elvis singing!
"Save The Last Dance For Me" (Jerry Lewis/Jimmy Ellis) was more compelling by a country mile.
