Well, it's just his feelings and personal experience. Suffice to say, he wasn't around when EIB came out (born in 1970) so he first heard the song in the movie before he discovered EIB.

The movie version of the song is a little bit of a mess, wouldn't you agree? And seeing someone looking uncomfortable while singing it doesn't help either.

Brilliant - sheer brilliance, by all involved. Elvis' vocal is just amazing.

Happilly, I have never seen "Tickle Me" and doubt I ever will so my thoughts on this song will never be tainted!

Kind of hard to sit through today though I sure enjoyed it at 12 years old. However, I appreciate Jocelyn Lane more today than at 12. She is spectacular.

I only saw it a few years back for the first time. And have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought. It's very silly, but entertaining.
