TV Guide presents, complete with inserts and mailer (famous Chicago disc-jockey Jim Lounsbury sent this record complete to his friend and fellow DJ Mr Ron Turner at WKMI Radio, Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1956).

Elvis Christmas Album Camden CDSV - 1155 has not been shown before on this thread .Thank you for showing it .Can you confirm the release number I have stated ?

The album was partly shown around Christmas on a thread dealing with different Christmas issues after I asked for it . I saw it in Norway in the mid-80's ,but didn't manage to buy one. Evidently, only a small amount of it was imported into Norway . I believe most countries never got it . Hence, a real rarity !

By the way, we managed to get a lot of very rare Christmas releases on the aforementioned thread ,but my feeling is that there are plenty of rare ones that were not entered.
Hopefully , somebody creative will someday manage to gather a loadful of them in a book or a dvd.

This is a 12" album from Russia.



This Russian magazine contains 6 blue flexi discs.
Elvis sings: Heartbreak Hotel, In the Ghetto & Blue Suede Shoes

Hello Splanky,
As KempoDick stated the Christmas album does indeed have that number.The other LPs that I posted also have the CDSV prefix.(Heartbreak Hotel, It's Now or Never etc), There was an article in The Man & His Music mag No.59, concerning the "Now or Never" release,stating how rare that was.

Here is another rarity.The stereo copy (CDS 1088) of You'll Never Walk Alone, this was withdrawn by RCA and the artwork reused in 1972 on the Uk release of Elvis For Everyone.

I have a true mint, unplayed copy of that 'Christmas album', almost trown it away - i'm taking offers - I have a few other crapdem albums from the UK also ... I really couldn't understand that there are collectors who want these 'market spiller' albums, they came in by the truckload in the early 80's, couldn't give them away in those days .... (Give me that TV-Guide 45 anytime ...)
