ELVIS PRESLEY: “THAT’S ALL RIGHT” GRACELAND COLLECTOR’S EDITION 10” VINYL SINGLE
July 5, 1954, marked a pivotal moment in music history. "Elvis’ earliest take of “That All Right” from that July night in 1954 at Memphis Recording Service"
Earliest take?
So they pressed the false start of the song that RCA released in 1984 on Elvis: A Golden Celebration?
Also, the session was at Sun Studio with producer/owner Sam Phillips. Not a demo for take home.

Re: ELVIS PRESLEY: “THAT’S ALL RIGHT” GRACELAND COLLECTOR’S EDITION 10” VINYL SINGLE
If I were going to buy a non-Sun vinyl reissue of "That's All Right," I'd rather put that $30 towards obtaining a quality copy of RCA's 1955 reissue. At least it includes a song on the flipside!
I do think it'd be funny (and worthy of admission for whoever thought of it into the Snowman's League) if this record really turns out to be only the initial false start like Doc noted. Would this make it the shortest Elvis vinyl ever?

It's amazing how this thing gets hyped on social media, just like the plain ugly yellow colored vinyl Third Man Records Sun singles set. Both sets do not bare any historic value and do not retain any value in the future. I am happy to pass on money grabs like these.

Fair points. But the Third Man Records set beats this thing hands down.Alexander wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 4:40 pmIt's amazing how this thing gets hyped on social media, just like the plain ugly yellow colored vinyl Third Man Records Sun singles set. Re: ELVIS PRESLEY: “THAT’S ALL RIGHT” GRACELAND COLLECTOR’S EDITION 10” VINYL SINGLE
That`s a tad harsh, but hey to each his own. When I buy milk and bread at the corner store I never think of the historic value or retaining it for the future. I just eat it and drink it, but maybe I am doing it all wrong As I stated earlier I bought two thinking if someone overseas doesn't want to pay that shipping price (I don`t blame them) I may be persuaded to sell my 2nd copy, but only if you know me and were in good standingAlexander wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 4:40 pmIt's amazing how this thing gets hyped on social media, just like the plain ugly yellow colored vinyl Third Man Records Sun singles set. I guarantee you quality control on this will be nothing close to what TMR did with their recent Sun singles box set.
No thank you at any price.
