Trick . . . or Treat?!

Post by Greystoke »

Uploaded presumably for Halloween, it's good to see more content of any sort being added to Elvis’s Vevo channel on YouTube, and animated videos and lyric videos are a good way of doing this with older music.

It's quite an unremarkable animation, all the same, with no visual nods to Elvis or his career, which would have been a nice touch. But it's bright and busy, if repetitive. Still, it's good to see this platform continuing to be active, with three videos uploaded in the past two weeks. And seventeen videos uploaded this year, with the one million views of Let Yourself Go from Elvis’s NBC special being the most watched, with a million views to date.

That's quite a nice animation, and the song is one of those that is quite well known amongst my generation (or at least amongst the people I know)

I enjoyed that, it's a great way of introducing Elvis' music to a younger generation.

Nicely done. My new granddaughter is 3 months old. She smiles and kicks her legs if my daughter plays Elvis or Michael Bublé.
