Rare at the Fairgrounds
Browsing through some of my old magazines I stumbled upon these photos which I do not recall having seen otherwise.
Hope you enjoy. Sincerely

When I was a child I was a dreamer,
I read comic books and I was the hero of the comic book
And I saw movies and I was the hero in the movie
So every dream I´ve ever dreamed has come true a hundred times.

Re: Rare at the Fairgrounds
You're very welcome guys.
Man, those old magazines are fun to look through. I could use a week scanning all the photos, there's a few rare ones among all the well-known.
I'll post some more as I get them scanned.
Sincerely
Brian

Re: Rare at the Fairgrounds
Brian, a while ago I posted this (I'm ALMOST certain I posted an alternate, too) candid from the fairgrounds. For the life of me I can't find the other one (if indeed there was one), so if you or anyone of you good people want to go back into the archives (I'm too lazy too ) of the 'picture section' you may find (if it's there) the alternate I'm crapping on about If you Brian, or anyone finds it (??) then could you please upload it so I can put it back into my database. Cheers! Oh BTW, that's not my pink paper - clip!

Hi Funky, I think this is the one. If I remember correctly, these were from the collection of Robin Rosaaen.

Re: Rare at the Fairgrounds
Brian, by any chance did those photos come from The Tankers Annual 1963? Unfortunately, I don´t have that magazine, only these images from eBay.

Re: Rare at the Fairgrounds
Thanks Funky and Fool for reminding me of those two colour pics from the same date.
The fool, those are some cool photos. Gary Pepper was a great source for photos and information back in the 60's and 70´s. I would have loved to get my hands on some of those Tankers magazines.
And no, I didn't get my scans from the Tankers magazine, those photos on your page are superior compared to the ones I posted.
Sorry javier, the 60´s are not my best period of dating photos, all I know are that they are from 1962 as can be seen in the Tankers magazine posted by The fool.
Sincerely
Brian
