Did you ever have a fantasy about him opening with anything else?

I have Rob. But I swear to you that I never had one while I was in the shower!

Best opening number from the 69-77 period: That's All Right. But Blue Suede Shoes was a pretty cool opener.

I always had the fantasy to listen to "Ito Eats" as the opening number in the 70's. Maybe it should have been used for Aloha concert in 1973. A tribute to Hawaii !

Marching In One Line (Showroom, 2011)

FWIW, "When The Saints Go Marching In" is just a one-liner.

Having experienced "That's All Right" and "See See Rider" in person as openers (I have only heard the others on CD), my vote goes to "That's All Right." HOWEVER, I really like "Tiger Man" as an opener.

Never thought much of See See Rider as an opening song. It is my least favorite, probably also because I heard to many routine versions.

I always liked That's All Right for an opener in the 70s. I think it is kind of symbolic and should have been the opener throughout the 70s. For the 50s Heartburn Motel... Uhhhh... Heartbreak Hotel is my favorite...

Would have been great to see Elvis open a show in Las Vegas with a rearranged Viva Las Vegas, to fantasize a little bit.
