As TONY. started up a topic on Linda, I'm starting one on Ginger Alden . This is Ginger today.

Actually, that pic was taken around 1988.

And how do you know it was "Around 1988" ? She would have been 29-30. She looks slightly obese.

What is Ginger really going to say? That she was madly in love with a drug addict, who didn't shower, and who was in terrible physical shape? Ginger's motives have always been suspect. It is doubtful she would ever offer a truthful account of that troubling period of Elvis' life. She witnessed the final stages of his demise and nothing she provides is going to change how she is generally viewed. If she is honest, she looks bad. If she sugarcoats it, she looks bad. Hence, the reason she has kept quiet for so many years.

Completeley agree with you. I guess everyone who is interested in Elvis knows how his final months must have been like.
Therefore she is doing the right thing to keep quiet and respect ELVIS and his family.

And how would "everyone who is interested in Elvis final months" would "know" ? Were they there ?

Don't just base your views on books or comments such as the book by Thompson and Cole or the Elvis Mafia and the like, who have been unfair and harsh on Ginger. There's usually two sides to a story.

Certainly there are 2 sides but as most of us weren't there in person we somehow have to believe what other tell us.

TONY. My Mate (..cough cough..) I'm so glad you have finally posted a comment. Do you think Ginger should write her memoirs? Do you think right now she's more attractive than Linda ?

Ginger looks pretty nice in those pics, much nicer than Linda or Priscilla.

Could someone please find & post a more recent photo of Ginger (circa 2009 or later). I'm sure she most likely had some nip & tuck (and a dozen botox jobs) done on her face. She's now in her mid-50's , btw.

Midnightx has this correct that it will only make her look bad if she tells the truth (she was with Elvis only for the image and not the man)

That, I agree wholeheartedly. Linda was the one who really cared for the guy through thick & thin, until it was too unbearable for her to continue.

Wasn't she also involved with David Briggs (source Briggs interview - Talking Elvis book) ?

Just my opinion, since she didn't say . Believe she was inferring Dick Grob. They seem to have had an ongoing feud for years. Since finding all that,it made me wonder.
Dick Grob didn't leave Graceland until after Vernon died. {found pictures & letters that show that} She also threatened to sue Grob if he published his book. She hasn't. Also letters where he worked with MPD to recover some of Elvis' things. Who knows the truth in some of this?There's many things we'll never know.

Dick Grob, for sure. Grob had nothing good a-tall to say about the Alden's in his book. It was obvious that he had a deep dislike for them.

He was also critical of her in the Thompson and Cole book 20 years ago.
