I do like Marty Robbins' gunfighter ballads -- they tell some great stories and are very captivating and visual in their lyrics.

Do you know about 'Bear Family Records' 4CD box set 'Marty Robbins Under Western Skies' which features all 97 of his western songs and comes c/w 60 page book?
Amongst many artists that didn't make my top list, EPA4368, I also like Dean Martin both as a vocalist and film star in particuler his westerns.
