Err..................... my thread started first, actually..................... and you didn't need to delete yours...................... they could have run alongside each other..................

Why has it taken you till now to post this update? Cause you saw my topic and decided to update yours.

As i said, not nice.

I done the decent thing by deleting mine cause there is no point in having two topics on the same subject.

Colin, just make sure no one posted the info first in another thread, as to avoid this type of situation.
You're gentleman and one you shall remain.

I've been doing these 'anniversary' threads for years now.

When I do the annual 'update' it brings the thread up to the top again & posters can re-read all the old posts, see all the old names, & view again the pics put up.

Should I not be allowed to do that, just because someone else 'beats me to it' on the day ?

I think you have a point.
Bodie, can we have 2 threads on the same subject living in perfect harmony, side by side on my piano?

Maybe you should make an 'anniversary' thread for your 'anniversary' postings......................

When did it come out that James Dean was gay?

What a coincidence Johnny, today I bought a 3rd row ticket to attend Elvis Costello's concert on April 8.

Well, we certainly had no inkling back in the day.

He had girlfriends like any other young man.

I think, if he had any inclinations that way, they were bisexual leanings, at worst.

I have no problem with your anniversary topic's and updates but you didnt even remember it was James Dean's 80th Birthday till you saw my topic on it.

Its like that you think you own all the anniversary updates and no one be entitled to post them, like you own the forum or something.

The 80th Birthday topic i put up for James Dean had a nice tribute youtube clip with it, but all you put up was just a reminder.

I thought what you did was just rude and petty.

I was a tad late with my post, that's all !

I don't 'own' anything on here.

You could have left your post up, & the two could have run concurrently.

I agree that someone is being rude & petty....................

Why update your one after you saw mine?

Whats the point of two topics covering James Dean's 80th Birthday?

There was no need to update yours after seeing mine.

You are being petty, im just proving a point.

Sometimes it feels like people don't have real problems in life and fight over stupid things.
At least that's how I feel after reading all this!

Well, it's true that my life is pretty problem-free just now !

I feel sorry for Bodie !

Every time he replies, he brings the very thread he's objecting to up to the top again !
