I received the ELVIS Vegas '69 book today and it's awesome.
Not to mention the Elvis On Tour shirts and a few FTD's, Jailhouse
Rock and From Sunset To Vegas.

Even the price was decent...
The book was $29 and change.
The CD's were $17 and change.
Even the shirts were on sale.
I did have to pay shipping though.

What is an "Elvis on tour" shirt? Is it similar to the recent DVD, ie, it has an arm not included or something??!!

The shirt has both arms, but the tour dates listed on the back are from Chuck Berry's '72 tour.

Mowed grass today, the South is hot and dry!

The cotton is almost ready.
And I've never seen it as tall.

Just purchased The Song Remains The Same and enjoyed it very much.
Thought the DTS soundtrack was good. Never had noticed how much over-
dubbing was used before. Still a good Rock film though.

On the second disc they featured a news clip from Tampa Florida (1976?)
telling how Zep had broken the Beatles single concert attendance record.
The Beatles' record was 55,000 and Zeppelin's topped 56,000.

Which leads me to this question. Didn't Elvis appearance at the Pontiac Silverdome
draw near 60,000 (1976?). If so Elvis would have had the record at that time.

Btw, Jimmy Page's moon and stars outfit looks as dated as someone elses
jumpsuits. You never hear that mentioned though. I guess he just needed
a belt.
