If they had broadcast him head-to-toe, we'd be lacking a big part of the legend: "From The Waist Up."

Some great photo's, there. Which springs to mind, the last Sullivan Show we rarely see,partically the one were he has his guitar and sings a melody of his hits.

Great stuff. great! Hard to be believe the coolest cat around was the same guy wearing an uncool sundial jumpsuit some 20 years later. To know the difference, at one time we all wanted to look & act like Elvis. By the mid-70's none of us did anymore.

You are right -- the most often-used January '57 clips are his great rendition of "Don't Be Cruel" (arrangement courtesy of Billy Ward and His Dominoes) or "Peace In The Valley."
