Kudos to Kathryn Guyitt, who was named 2008 Remodeler of the Year at the Collier Builders Industry Association (CBIA) officer installation and awards ceremony on Jan. 10.

Guyitt’s passion for lighting and composition is home grown, as her early days were spent on movie sets. Her father and grandfather, Fred J. Koenekamp and Hans F. Koenekamp, are award-winning cinematographers; the former with greats such as Patton and The Towering Inferno and the latter with The Old Man and the Sea and The Treasure of Sierra Madre.
