Anyone seen this snap before?

It appears to be taken between takes of "It Happened At The World's Fair," circa September 1962.
Pretty bad-ass shot -- Erik Estrada, eat your heart out.

It's similar, but not exactly the same. And the snap is from location work for "Kid Galahad," about a year earlier.
Elvis liked motorcycles and law enforcement -- heck, who doesn't?
Anyone else have a date for the photo at top?

DJC, you are indeed correct! The photo in question was taken on the set of It Happened At The World's Fair (the scene where they are hitch-hiking) between August 27th and Setember 5th '62, before going up to Seattle for location work at the World's Fair!

Funky,
Did you mean
1962 instead of 1967??
It's a
great shot! I remember seeing it in an old edition of the Guiness Book Of World Records that I used to have....

I'm on a roll -- the above is just one reason why

I was going to say the same thing about this photo being used in the Guiness Book of World Records. Being a child of the 70's, I can remember when we would go to the library in elementary school I would grab the Guiness book and look at Elvis' picture every time!!!

Sorry I don't know the date of this. One of my favourite photo's.
It's looks like the field where Elvis was hitchhiking in the It Happened At The World's Fair.
This photo was in the Guiness Book of Records years ago and that's why I liked the photo.

Cool pic, doc!

Notice the Civil Defense decal on the windshield and the Transistorized Dispatcher.
